What started out in 2001 as Jerry's vision to provide his company a venue to build relationships with their current service providers has evolved into one of the leading energy forums in our region. ENERUM is a centrally located event in the Midwest where an owner, generator or consumer can all come together to see the latest technologies, hear from thought leaders, review solutions and interface with decision-makers. The opportunities during the three day event are endless to learn, grow, network and engage.
Before founding PPS in 2010, Jerry was over American Electric Power’s Region Engineering and responsible for projects and support of the Eastern fleet of power plants. He was instrumental in the Zimmer Plant nuclear to coal conversion, the only one in the world. Jerry spent 40 years with AEP where he held various positions leading operations, equipment design, procurement, construction, and maintenance for steam generating supercritical units.
Jerry earned a Master’s degree in Industrial Systems Engineering with a minor in Business Administration, and a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Ohio University. He continues to serve on several industry boards.
Jerry’s more than fifty years of experience in the utility industry, having published several technical papers, and extensive steam generation experience, still makes him a sought after expert in the utility industry.
